At long last...

...I've managed to convince winamp to pull individual song titles out of .ogg vorbis streams. In typical "well, that makes sense" fashion, I did it by completely turning off all of the "do clever things with titles" options. With them on, all it could manage was the filename of the downloaded stream.

So now people actually get to tell what I'm really listening to when I listen to obscure downloaded prog radio shows.

For reference, I'm currently listening to the latest archived Progopolis show from The Dividing Line Broadcast Network. Winamp, however, is displaying "King Crimson - Fracture", which is the current song on the show. Now I actually get to know what I'm listening to without having to burrow around in the file info...
