An exercise in frustration...

Today is rapidly turning into an exercise in frustration. It started out well, but I've seen a pattern start to emerge.

This morning, I changed a couple of bits and pieces around and fixed three bugs in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, fixing those bugs just revealed more things that don't behave as they should. This afternoon, I got a something working, but immediately found out that the thing it's meant to feed into won't accept a correct input, whereas it would happily accept a partial or broken one.

In short, I'm on a roll when it comes to fixing things, but by doing so I'm just finding more that's broken and that nothing I'm doing has actually had a single bit of visible effect. I'd really like it if such a productive day had more to show for itself than an increase in the overall bug count, more work added to my to-do list and nothing extra actually working.

Bah.

Hopefully rehearsals tonight will be productive in some way, but I suspect they'll result in a growing list of requirements rather than any actual plans for the lighting.
