Urgh.

...and now I am tired.

I have no real idea why, as I didn't stay up particularly late last night... watched lots of cartoons, then a slightly odd episode of Angel, followed by Tompkinson's Schooldays, a Ripping Yarn!

All of which was accompanied by good company, chinese food and a small splash of wine. I think I'll probably avoid drinking again until the party now... I'll just have Orange Juice + Lemonade at the pub on Thursday. I've been slightly tipsy for both of the past two nights and should probably have a couple of days of sobriety at least...

Speaking of the party, can people poke assorted non-LJ people about it for me? I'm notoriously bad at actually spreading the word of these things to people who are not online as much as us folks... I don't want people being left out because my publicity machine wasn't up to snuff!

Oh, and if anybody happens to be in the Egham area, car enabled and able to get to a decent hardware shop, I could really use :
1mm Drillbit suitable for drilling wood (IE not a masonry bit)
AND EITHER
~1 metre of 1mm Steel rod
OR
1mm Round (ie: not oval) Nails of some ilk, over 1" long.
(yes, I happily combine metric and imperial units)

to assist with repairing the dining chairs of destruction. Their willful collapsing mocks my practical nature. Obviously, if somebody fetches these items for me I shall reimburse them.

Aha! Yes! These are even folk I can email, rather than having to escape the office and phone (as I will have to do for the Squidkid!)

What time does the party start? I may possibly be able to come (yay!) as my beloved wishes to visit his parents that day and could maybe be persuaded to deposit me in Egham.

I'll take a guess at a start time and say it'll be around 8ish, although start times for parties are fictitious at the best of times as far as I can tell...
