the_eggwhiteProblem tracked down to a bit of worn through insulation near (but not actually on) the boot hinge. To track it down practically everything that wasn't welded on had to be removed from inside the rear right hand side of the car, and even then it took the bloke a few minutes to find and even more to actually get at, so it wasn't particularly surprising that I didn't find it before. He also charged me less than we'd previously agreed, which always makes me pleased.
Now I just need a dry day so I can sort out the remaining rust, then I can stick the thing through an MOT. Huzzah!

izzy_stradlin's parents, who were down to pick her up and take her away for easter. Things seemed to go okay on that front, but then I usually get on with parents, so that wasn't unexpected... It's possibly because I'm the practical type. I also fed them tea, which probably helped.
