Well, we've just covered the use of cron, at and a bunch of process control gubbins. Next we get a bit more of an intro to shell scripting, but I get the feeling that's just a whistle stop tour. Still, I can code already, so it won't be too much of a culture shock for me by the looks of things.

As mentioned, I do indeed still have plague, although I think it may be subsiding a little... either that or I've just managed to numb myself with drugs and now can't tell I'm ill.

After today's training finished (probably mid to late afternoon) I get to go home and collapse for a while. I'm undecided about pub tonight - if I do go it'll only be for a short time - I've not been able to properly relax all week and I need to.

Then I have tomorrow off work, during which I shall harrass the bank, try to get my car sorted (or at least booked in to be sorted), try to see the doctor about the cought that will not die (even though it's currently hidden behind a cold) and prepare for the sabbat game. I might even manage to do some of the design work that I need to get done... Or more likely I'll do some of the things I need to, then I'll slob around and relax instead of doing anything constructive.

At the weekend I was thinking of giving the C/A game a miss, but it's looking like it might be interesting, so I'll decide on the basis of plague levels. If I can stand up and think straight (as opposed to making no sense at all, like I have the past couple of nights) then I'll go, otherwise I'll need to appoint a whip and brief them thoroughly. I'll decide on the day.
