On and on it goes...
14 May 2004 11:33I've been quiet on LJ recently.
I could do day by day updates, but I feel uninspired in that regard, so here are some snippets:
I've been listening to Pink Floyd. I used to find them really quite dull, but now it appears that I quite like them. Presumably my tastes have changed, as I think it's unlikely that unseen powers have been travelling the world layering extra musical interest into Pink Floyd albums just to convert me into their prog rock conspiracy.
Besides that, my special edition of the new Marillion album turned up yesterday. It's damned fine. It's another more mellow, introspective album, but I already like it. Because I got the special "will never fit in your CD rack" edition, I got the 128 page book with the names of hordes of people who funded the album by preordering it in there. I was too late preordering it, so I'm not in there, but out of curiousity I looked and sure enough Suzanne (an ex-girlfriend of mine) is in there. As is one of her little brothers and her little sister. I convert one family member into the prog rock conspiracy and she indoctrinates the younger spawn accordingly... Excellent...
Now, this morning I find myself perusing web comics. I tried to work on the eyebleeding project, but my brain rejected it. I'll try again in a while. In the meantime, I heartily recommend the oddness that is The Parking Lot is Full. Imagine "The Far Side" on drugs, with added Call of Cthulhu and Unknown Armies style insanity and paranoia.
