Hmmm... Joy!
29 September 2004 10:12It would appear that the email system is somewhat buggered.
Following a different cockup yesterday, it now transpires that I can't open Outlook. I loathe outlook with a passion anyway, but I was forced to change to it regardless. Today something has happened which prevents outlook from opening my mailbox, which causes outlook to crash out with an error.
This would not be too much of a problem, except outlook also contains my tasks list (against my wishes - once again, forced to use it), my calendar/diary and all of the past emails that I need access to to do my job. So it appears I can do very little this morning.
When queried at 9am, the appropriate people stated that "there may be a problem with exchange" when queried about the fact that there was a blatant problem with exchange.
When, after an hour, it becomes apparent that nobody else has email either, we query again. The response?
"No staff have email"
Informative.
