Runnymede Sabbat
4 December 2004 11:11So, we've finished Runnymede Sabbat.
It's over, and I thought it went pretty well. I thought the venue was bigger than we needed, but it turned out to be a good size in the end, as it meant we had space to break things up a bit.
Thanks muchly to our assorted NPC players... you may have played many, many disposable cultists and recently embraced infernal cainites, but without you guys there it would have been far harder for us ST types to actually focus on keeping the plot together. The few of you who got to play more fleshed out characters, you did a fine job! You allowed us to tie up some individual character backgrounds in interesting and amusing ways. You also managed to play a couple of characters that, to my mind, demonstrate the fact that I can create cheese.
Yes, that harsh Nos was one of mine. Meet Skinner, onetime Camarilla Prince of Brighton (but hasn't been actually cam for several years). Note: this character sheet is from before he went infernal, and it could well have had some dark thaum added to it as well:
( skinner )I could try to name all of our NPC crew, but I'll miss people out because I'm not very very with it today. So I'll just say a general thankyou instead
Of course, the players need to be thanked too. After all, the game wouldn't have been much without them...
sea_cucumber also deserves much thanks as the games DST. We'd never have had such doom-cheesy plots without her!
I'm sure I was going to say more, but formatting Skinner's sheet into a legible format has broken my head, so I'll finish now by just saying that last night was some of the best fun I've had as an ST for a long time... Thanks everybody!
