Bored!

Well, today I've got many, many different jobs to do - and the one I'm working on at the moment is a creative one... This is normally what I enjoy, but I've been working on the project for so long that when it comes to the little bit I need to do today, I've dried up. All I need to do is source some appropriate photos, build them into some larger images, tie them up with a bit of text and then build the bunch of them into a homepage for a site I'm working on.

Instead, when I look through the available photos my brain is just saying "Drab. Dull. Boring. Used it too many tiems elsewhere. Dull. Drab. Boring. Wrong message. Drab..." and so on.

So instead I'll plan the rest of my week.

Tonight I'll probably spend mixed between planning for Mage at Lammas Fair and also watching TV.

Tomorrow, after work, I go into London to meet my dad... This was originally planned for yesterday night, but his schedule changed so that fell through. I'm then planning to stay in London overnight, because I need to be in there for web usability training on Thursday. Not sure I need the training as I'm already the (usually ignored or overruled) usability guy, but we needed to use the budget and if it turns out to be good training then it will be useful and will hopefully bring me up to date on current thinking...

After that training I'll head back (possibly not straight away, but that night at least), after which more Lammas Fair Mage prep will most likely occur.

Friday I've booked off work, so I can do yet more Mage prep if needed, and also so I'm not already frazzled by the time of the game.

Then the game itself takes place on Saturday. I should probably make sure I know where it is and how I'm getting there...
