Neck & Shoulders
2 July 2008 15:24For the past couple of weeks, my neck and shoulders have really been acheing. I don't know why. At first, I thought it was down to having a new desk setup at home, which left me with my monitor lower down. So I raised my monitor... yet still I ache.
I thought it might be down to my new chair in my room. It might still be the case, but I don't think so, as the problem persists even when I spend almost no time in the chair. It's also a lot more comfortable for sitting and watching TV, and lets me sit in a better posture than I would if I sat on the bed propped up with pillows.
It's not to do with work, as nothing's changed there.
I suspect it's just the ongoing campaign that the Englefield Green Social Hall is waging against my health. Every time I spend any length of time there, I get ill. When I did CamUK games there, I was ill a fair bit. When I do theatre stuff there, I get ill. Basically, I go near the place and my health suffers. Perhaps my body's trying to tell me something?
