RP Meme...

  1. On your livejournal, list in order from most recent, any character you have roleplayed as in the last two months. (if your memory is hazy then just list randomly.)
  2. Include the game you played them in and when you last played them.
  3. People can then comment asking one question general enough for anyone to answer it.
  4. You then reply with the answers each character listed would give.
  5. People can ask multiple questions if they wish.
  6. No giving away characters deep dark secrets. These are answers your characters would give. They could lie if put on the spot.

Hmm... now this is a difficult one for me, as I've actually done surprisingly little roleplaying in the past couple of months, and I tend to ST/GM more than I play. So I'm going to ignore the time limit and just bung up a few recent or upcoming characters, including an NPC or two...

Caliban - M&M (X-Men with special added bonus Planetary), a week and a bit ago.
- Amalgam of assorted versions of caliban from various stages, storylines and writers.

Prince Gillebert du Mont - Runnymede Dark Ages, December. (NPC)
- Toreador vassal prince of Windsores, Stanes and sundry surrounding towns and villages. All round cock.

Heddwyn Mawr - Runnymede Dark Ages (NPC), it's been a while...
- Odd little welsh cainite.

Cedagh - Runnymede Dark Ages, October (I think)
- Pleasant fellow who some cainites took a dislike to, for one reason or another.

added:
Tepet Beruda - Scarlet Dynasty LARP, starts saturday
- Aged exalt / gentleman of leisure with a distant past in the military. Retired.

I should RP more. I have more time free now, so it's looking likely that this is possible.

You friends have betrayed you. What is your plan of action?

[identity profile] eggwhite.livejournal.com 2007-02-27 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Caliban:
Again..? I am not surprised. Humans? Mutants? All have ideals when it suits them. Go back underground. Look for others like me. Abandoned, cast aside and alone.

Gillebert:
(pre-december)
Why should I care what they do? I'll have them punished.
(post-december)
I make them stand in awe before me as I leave for somewhere my talent is appreciated.

Heddwyn:
Wouldn't happen now, would it? Why would anyone turn on heddwyn, now? All I want is for everybody to get what they want, see?

Cedagh:
Well, I hope that never happens. There are so many of them, you see. It would turn out to be such a bind. Of course if it did happen I'd have to see to it that they became known as oathbreakers, and I wouldn't wish that upon such fine people.

Beruda:
I do not believe that such an occurance would come to pass. I would have to have misjudged them severely, and I think that over the years my judgement has become rather good in such matters. If they did, I would not doubt that they had good reason for the turn, and would see to it that I came to understand that reason - even if I could not find a way to agree with it.

They are my friends out of mutual respect, out of trust and out of a certain affection. Those all being turned on their heads is not something I would expect to happen lightly. Would you like some tea, perhaps? A chance to sit and discuss what friendship means and, perhaps, make another?

How do you take your coffee?

[identity profile] eggwhite.livejournal.com 2007-02-27 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Caliban - However the last owner left it... or however the soup kitchen hands it out.

Gillebert - What in God's name is coffee?

Heddwyn - Don't know what it is, but I'll take it however it's given, y'see?

Cedagh - Strong and hot. Like somebody not too far from you right now, if I may say so...

Beruda - Ahh, coffee. All well and good in its place, but I find it lacks the delicacy and subtlety of flavour that can be found in a good jasmine tea... Here, let me show you...

Assuming films existed in your world/time period, what actor would you get to play you?

[identity profile] eggwhite.livejournal.com 2007-02-27 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Caliban - Celebrity is a lie.

Gillebert - It would have to be somebody with poise. Gravitas. They must be a paragon of their art, to be able to portray somebody of my stature.

Heddwyn - Well, I don't really know, see. Have to be a welshman, of course. Otherwise they'd get the accent wrong, see?

Cedagh - Actor? Actor? Dear child, I'd do it myself, of course. Nobody else could match me! Of course, I'm sure I'd be able to find a part for you as well... a role of some kind.

Beruda - I am sure some very talented young thing would make a fine show of my younger days, and I would never even notice that it had happened. Of course, was this film to be portraying me as I stand now, they would need to find somebody with a bad back, aching knees and who can act with a rolled fleece tied to their belly.

Hehehe :) :)
I love Gillebert :)

I think you're the only one.

Which famous building is most like you, and why?

[identity profile] eggwhite.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
Caliban - Fame is for those the world sees. Those it does not do not get to take part.

Gillebert - What kind of question is that? Get out of my study - can't you see I have work to do!

Heddwynn - Now, I'm not sure, really. It'd have to be somewhere with tunnels or a dungeon, really - somewhere with a bit of hidden depth.

Cedagh - Well, try as they might, none of them really seem to measure up. How about we make something of a sport of it? Maybe you could have somebody try to build something that does the job. I'll have some friends judge the effort, and if they think it's up to scratch, I'll do something nice for you? If not, well, you can do something nice for me...

Beruda - It is my belief that such a building would need to be somewhere circled with a large and sturdy outer wall, barely strong enough to contain a large amount of tea, wine and fine foods. Little else would be an accurate representation, I fear.

Would you be prepared to sacrifice a friend or ally to achieve a goal? Who would you not be prepared to give up?

[identity profile] eggwhite.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 11:07 am (UTC)(link)
Caliban - You can't give up what you don't have. Those I have, I would give myself before them.

Gillebert - You make me nauseous. Get out.

Heddwynn - Sacrifice is such a strong word, isn't it? Everything is a balancing act, isn't it? I mean, who are your friends really? The people who tell you what to do or the people who help you do what you must? Sometimes you've got to do thinks you don't like, and sometimes you have to hold on to things you don't really want because giving them up would be worse.

Cedagh - That would depend. If I've given them my word, or sworn loyalty, then not under any circumstances. I would not break an oath. If I must chose between a friendship and an oath, then it is regrettable, but there is nothing I can do.

Beruda - A goal which requires me to do so is not a goal worth holding. If there is no other way to achieve the goal, then the goal is misguided.
