I've just acquired mp3s of some demos by a band called Scylla... They're quite old (the music was recorded in the mid to late 90s), but rather interesting. Scylla was Toni Halliday's band after curve disbanded in 1994. Nothing was ever released [*] and Curve reformed with a vengeance in 1996, and released some of their best music before they disbanded again in 2005.

The music's quite interesting because a) it's really good and b) I keep hearing bits that eventually made it into curve's songs. I don't know how long these demos will be available - but if you're interested, they can be found here (for the moment, at least).

[* - although the track "Helen's Face" apparently had the dubious honour of making it into the soundtrack of "Showgirls"]

[EDIT: I have now removed the offensive apostrophe from all of the mp3's id3 tags]
