So... I feel crap.
5 October 2005 14:21Well, to be fair I'm not actually feeling like death warmed up or anything, but the combination of feeling a bit rough and being here working my arse off is not exactly helping me feel awake and alert.
Bizarrely, though, I'm earning a bit of extra money this week and next week by doing some teaching. Yes. Teaching. Me. Teaching students. The person they pay to do lecture support (ie: labs and tutorials) for their Java programming module has taken sick and won't be in for a few weeks, so they asked the director of information servies, and the two people who know anything about Java have been pressganged.
Not only have I not done any Java for a while, I've not done any teaching for a while either. Still, I think the level that's being taught is pretty basic, so I should do okay in spite of being somewhat rusty.
In other news, my home PC has become evan harder to turn on now - the switch on the front has been falling apart for a long time now... you had to reach into the case and hold the back of it on when you pressed it or it wouldn't work. Now, however, even that doesn't work as the wires have come away. Now you have to touch one of the wires to a pin on the switch whilst pressing it, and then make sure it doesn't stay touching too long or it'll turn off again.

izzy_stradlin for not doing the above before leaving this morning, thus leaving her spodless until she goes back to London. I wasn't very alert and forgot that it was even an issue...
