So, today I start up my machine and windows bugs me about updates, so I let it do it's thing...
...and my machine has been somewhat fucked ever since. Which is something of a pain in the arse. It decided it needed to restart itself, but failed to actually shut down, choosing instead to freeze. When I eventually gave up and hard rebooted it (keyboard & mouse had been unresponsive for over 10 minutes), it came back up saying none of the updates had happened.
It looks like at some point between starting the update process and my PC falling over, it's filled my C Drive with half a ton of shite, and left itself with not enough room to do anything. Then it fell over without deleting any of it.
So until I can fathom out what it's actually done, I'm working with a c drive with only about 20 meg free on it.
