For those not in the know... I've been off at Summer's End over the weekend. It's a small, annual progressive rock music festival, and this year it was in the Forest of Dean, about 5-10 minutes drive away from where I used to live.
izzy_stradlin was taking photos of the first night's headline act, so needed to be there early, so I took a half day (somewhat contentious, but I got away with it).

What have I been twittering about?

- 16:33 Phone battery ran out so music updates stopped... Will catch up momentarily... #
- 16:34 Summer's End: My mention of Quidam vanished into the SMS ether... They were mighty. First immediate CD purchase of the weekend. #
- 16:36 Caught the beginning of IQ's set, which was pretty fine. Unfortunately had to leave early: my back hurt, beth's knee gave out. #
- 16:37 Summer's End: Glow - Pychchadelic electronic proggy fantasticness. Second immediate CD purchase of the weekend. #
- 16:39 Summer's End: Thieves Kitchen. Trying too hard to be prog. Technically amazing, played theremin and spoons. Forgot to put tunes in, alas. #
- 16:40 Summer's End: Abel Ganz - Old band I'd not heard. Really good. Immediate CD purchase number 3. #
- 16:41 Summer's End: Frost*. OMFG Frost*. If you've not heard frost, go give them a listen. Don't like prog? Listen anyway, they're that good! #
- 16:42 Summer's End: The Tangent - always going to suffer from being on after frost, but they were highly entertaining, catchy and cool. #
- 18:51 Got back from Summer's End a couple of hours ago. Now relaxing and listening to all my new CDs... #
