So... Stuff...

Randomly went to London Mage yesterday. Hadn't really planned to, but we were going to London when it was on to try and buy a few bits and bobs, so it made sense to pop in. Of course, I don't really have a character these days - or more accurately, I do, but it's so long since I played him that I can remember nothing of him at all. So I created a new one on the spot, who I think I might flesh out a bit and turn into a "play him when I happen to randomly be at a game I'm not STing" character. So the world may hear from Bob the Urban Animist again...

In other news, I caved and finally bought Transhuman Space... Hard SF roleplaying. I'd read a bunch of it before, and was already expecting good things... I've not been disappointed. I'm still not entirely sure what kind of plot I'll run with, and the setting's very rich, so it'll take some work to get players up to speed with it. But I think I've already identified a good location for things to take place...

Don't know... I'll need to get my head around all of the gameworld bits enough that I can make sense to players. Then I'll need a plot.

It's also GURPS based, so I'll need to get to grips with how that works (probably using GURPS Lite, as that's included and I can't be doing with all of the bells and whistles anyway...)

Probably a few weeks before I run a game. When I do, I fully expect it to begin in one of the colonies around Lagrange 5. They interest me, and give quite a good range of possible characters and plots.
