Bleurgh, hack, splutter

Two things are annoying me greatly today...

1) I have plague. I felt like crap this morning until my assortment of plague remedies kicked in. This resulted in my being late for work. Bah! I hate being late as it means I have to contend with voicemails and phone messages from where people have tried to call me first thing...

2) I have been working my arse off for a while now, and actually have a day today where I can relax and slack off a bit - which I greatly need. Naturally, today is the day where all I can get out of the RPG.net boards is a message saying "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."

Bah!

On the other hand, there are two good things as well:

1) Courtesy of User Friendly's link of the day, I have discovered an online collection of Victorian and Edwardian photos, which will be a handy reference for a whole raft of things...

2) Tonight I get to see Serenity! Huzzah!

The showing's 6:20 at Staines, but it'd be handy if folks can be a bit early. I'll be relying on trains to get me there, so my exact arrival time will be a bit of a fudge, but I'd prefer not to have to hang around outside with tickets whilst the film's starting...

I'm aiming to be early (as I'm fleeing the office early today), but I'll be arriving when I get there... If you keep your phone on from about 5, I'll try to give you a shout when I get to Staines. If I leave work an hour early, I should get there around 5ish. If I leave a bit less than an hour early, it could be anywhere from 5ish to 5:45ish.

All of this, is of course, subject to viking intervention.
