As noted in my last post (after a brief edit when I realised I'd missed it off), I'll be voting in the local council election when I get home tonight. I'll be making my choice between candidates from two parties I don't support and one independent that I know nothing about other than that he's a physics professor who's probably taught friends of mine.

I've recieved a leaflet from the fœtus running as a conservative candidate.
I've recieved nothing from the labour candidate.
I've recieved nothing from the independent candidate.

What an inspiring choice I have...

If that is Moreton Moore, he's cool, and has been a local councillor before a few times!! :D

So far he's my best bet, actually. It's between him and a great big scribble over the lot of them, really.

I have:
Labour (who told me nothing)
Conservatives (who told me something)
Lib Dems (never heard anything either)
BNP (haha haha haha ha)
Green Party (run by my former best friend who I don't think I trust)

I don't actually know what to do! Must remember to go out and vote later

I think [livejournal.com profile] izzy_stradlin binned something from the Indie guy. I have no idea where my voting card is though. If it wasn't for people mentioning there was a vote, I wouldn't have even realised it was happening TBH.

I've heard exactly nothing from any of the candidates, and if they can't be bothered to at least tell me why I should consider voting for them then I don't think any of them deserve my vote.
