It appears that I am currently unable to comment on people's journals... I get presented with an error if I try. Joy.
so, here are some random responses to random posts...

Don't try and outdo yourself on my account... I have arcane knowledge of SQL due to having the misfortune to frequently find myself up to the armpits in the wrong end of some database or another. Which considering I'm still technically a content editing assistant says a lot about the gap between my job & my job description.

I know the "you don't exist" problem well. In my case it's because I changed addresses too many times in quick succession and they lost me. Because I moved and moved again in the time it takes to update the electoral roll once everything got out of sync, and I have to wait for it all to work through the system before I can have any credit rating at all...
