Well, didn't make it to the pub last night... I was too easily distracted. Toyed with wandering up later, but decided that food was a better plan and so headed for Tescos and picked up edibles. Started [livejournal.com profile] izzy_stradlin on catching up on Angel episodes whilst we ate...

Tonight, Sabbat. Hopefully I shall remain alive for at least a reasonable part of the game. Might leave a bit early if everything seems to be in hand... don't know.

This might interest a couple of folks:

Right... This is starting to look like something that should get some proper planning. So, here's what needs doing first:

1) Vague idea of dates. When would be good, or when would be hideously inconvenient. I'll add a comment myself with my preferences in a bit.

2) Potential venues. Ideally these shouldn't cost too huge an amount to hire.
Again, I'll add some suggestions in a comment myself.

If folks could avoid putting unrelated comments in it would be handy - makes it easier for me to collate possibles...

(can anybody tell that I can't keep my mind on work today?)

So far the games day idea I suggested in this post seems to be a hit.

So far the following people have either directly expressed interest or commented in a way that could be considered positive:
[livejournal.com profile] eggwhite, [livejournal.com profile] lawrencegillies, [livejournal.com profile] molez, [livejournal.com profile] urizen, [livejournal.com profile] satyrica, [livejournal.com profile] sollunastella, [livejournal.com profile] d_morff, [livejournal.com profile] sebastian_oaks, [livejournal.com profile] cryx, [livejournal.com profile] sea_cucumber, [livejournal.com profile] anonymous_james, [livejournal.com profile] darklittlefox, [livejournal.com profile] stealthracer, [livejournal.com profile] shalafi, [livejournal.com profile] beeblebear, [livejournal.com profile] charliemouse, [livejournal.com profile] winterdreamer and [livejournal.com profile] themadone, [livejournal.com profile] nemy (Possibly [livejournal.com profile] thomasvye, other commitments permitting. Also [livejournal.com profile] portilis, but only if he gets to run something).

This puts us up to 19 to 21 people. This is looking like a thing-to-be-done. This is without even mentioning it outside of LJ - when that happens I reckon we should be able to grab a couple more folks as well.

If we top twenty then I think it's worth actually planning proper venues and dates, as even if half of the interested parties drop out at that point we still have ten or more, which is enough for two games per session.

For what it's worth, as I always have a few game ideas knocking around, I might run either some off-mythos cthulhu, some Unknown Armies or some Engel. Maybe, if I dream up a decent enough plot, I might run some Adventure!
